How It Works
Nitrogen gas generation units typically utilize Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) or Membrane technology. In PSA systems, compressed air passes through carbon molecular sieves that separate nitrogen from oxygen. In membrane systems, air flows through hollow fibers that selectively allow nitrogen molecules to pass while oxygen and other gases are vented out. The result is high-purity nitrogen gas available on demand without the need for storage or delivery.
